OK, I donated (via PayPal as that’s the only way I can do so at the moment). If I could have afforded to donate enough to hit the goal I would have! Looking back on the time I’ve spent reading the articles I here I’ve come to realize it’s consistently been the best news source I go to. I’ve sometimes been aggravated by the articles here, disagreeing strongly with some of the views expressed and then had myself proven wrong by subsequent events. To me that’s the sign of really first rate reporting.

Sorry I didn’t make it before midnight EST, but I hope it still can count. I have learned so much from this blog, though I don’t get to read it as much as I would like. Not only is the content superb, I have also been introduced to so many other writers and websites that I would otherwise not have known about. I have been reading this blog for about 8 years now, and I still find it one of my favorite places to go for news and as an information source. I have recommended it to numerous friends, and I will continue to do so as long as this blog lasts (unless I go first!). Great job!

Naked Capitalism is my #1 news source. Mainstream media kills me because it is either mindlessly conservative or mindlessly liberal. I really appreciate a place where people are willing to consider other perspectives. You all do a wonderful job, thank you.
