Thank you for NC! Reading NC all these years has been a great influence in our lives.
And Larry
Thank you for your wonderful service to the world’s Public. NC is my go to source for making sense of the world for 7? years now, every day.
Plus, nowhere is there a better commentariat; I find it crucial to my education to hear the varying and informed perspectives. Very, very glad to see it back.
And Bernard M: You can make your contribution here, via check, debit or credit card, or PayPal. If you give by check, be sure to let us know by e-mailing us at yves@nakedcapitalism.com with “Doulbe Your Donation Challenge” in the subject line. Thanks to our incognito donor for his generosity, and I hope readers will respond in kind. And if $100 is a stretch for you, don’t let that stop you from making a donation if you’ve been planning to but haven’t had time yet. Every contribution helps us meet our goals. So I hope you’ll take him up on this fundraiser challenge in whatever way you can!
Times are tough!
So, we’re giving something because times like these are when sites like Naked Capitalism are needed the most.
Thank you/
De nada. You’re welcome.
Done… your high standards of quality and authenticity are really inspiring to me. I am so grateful this space has remained a place I treasure… for the information and commentariat, this is the site that has given me the facts to use in discussions with people who think I’m too serious or a bit of a weirdo. On a personal note, my mother passed away suddenly earlier this year and she was one of the people who thought I was too serious and I drove her crazy with my persistent interest in the things discussed on NC (i.e the world and life outside the MSM and pop culture) … until she saw Yves on television for the first time. She was my first convert.
What a nice note! I am so sorry your mother passed away unexpectedly. That must have been hard.
After trying three times to get PainPal to accept my donation, I finally got it done.
Long time reader, first time commenter, and now new (albeit small) donator. Although many of the issues discussed on this site are above my level of economic comprehension, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the coverage of topics otherwise ignored in mainstream media. Keep on fighting the good fight!
