Lambert is making a rare swing through New York City on his way back from a trip on Saturday June 2, so we are holding a meetup to take advantage of his presence.
Details:
Saturday, June 2, 2018
5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Playwright’s Irish Pub
27 West 35th Street (between 5th and 6th Avenues)
New York, NY 10001
917-924-6868

As you can see, the venue is near Grand Central and Penn Station, and not far from Port Authority. That will hopefully make it easier for suburbanites to come by.
We have an area set aside, so tell the manager you are with the Naked Capitalism group. They will turn off the TVs in our section for us.
We also typically run later than 8 PM, so don’t hesitate to drop by!
As you can see, it’s near stations for the B, D, F, and M, as well as the 6, so it’s reasonably accessible.
Readers have very much enjoyed meeting each other, so I hope you can make it.
See you soon!
We’ll be there. Looking forward to it.
Superb- can’t wait!
Can’t wait!
Professional friend of mine who runs a prominent long running film festival is looking for a place to have a similar event in LA.
I’m friends on Facebook & will put this on my own page there, because I find the reasons for the place where the Meet up to be held excellent.
The place itself has a fine title name: “Playwrights”.
That the place is close to all transportation links short the airport
is telling of Lambert & Yves wisdom, and worth sharing.
Don’t the LA people have regular meetups? ISTR reading that they did.
Ever heard of the L.A. omelette?
The ingredients all agree to do breakfast sometime, but never follow through…
And to think that the Tucson meetup is about to launch version 2.0. Plus, we have a mailing list, to which I just sent a meetup alert.
As for the L.A. omelette, that’s a new one on me.
Being flaky is a way of life in the City of Angles.
