Jerri-Lynn here. Michael Hudson and I had lunch last week. We thought NYC-area readers might want to join us for a pop-up meetup in Manhattan.
We propose: 24th September, The Gray Mare, an east village bar Yves tells us has been the venue for past Naked Capitalism events.
Address: 61 2nd Avenue.
I will provide more detailed directions in a subsequent post.
Time 4:30 for 5, through 8 p.m. We’ll linger longer, if there’s interest.
As Michael and I have no idea how many people might attend, we don’t want to reserve a private space – for which we’d be on the hook for a minimum spend, guaranteed by a credit card.
But since this is a Tuesday event, we can easily reserve several tables, and that should provide us with a space where we can mingle. Connor, manager at the Gray Mare, says he’ll set aside the space we need, and take good care of us.
Yves asked me to mention that she’ll be in Manhattan in October, and will have a meetup on Tuesday, 29th October. Details to be announced.
