This is Naked Capitalism fundraising week. 366 donors have already invested in our efforts to combat corruption and predatory conduct, particularly in the financial realm. Please join us and participate via our donation page, which shows how to give via check, credit card, debit card, or PayPal. Read about why we’re doing this fundraiser, what we’ve accomplished in the last year and our current goal, funding meetups and travel.
Clive, Richard Smith, and I will be hosting a London meetup on 3rd October.
We’ve been pleased by the enthusiastic reader response to our previous announcement of this event.
Please rsvp if you haven’t already done so, so that we can reserve sufficient space.
We look forward to seeing you – and if you don’t manage to rsvp, please join us anyway. I’m sure we’ll cope. The more, the merrier!

If I still lived in London I’d be there, but as I live in Australia now it would be a bit of a stretch.
Pip-pip!
I’ll be coming along. I remember the last London meet-up at the Jerusalem Tavern with Lambert. It was a great evening out. Anyway, off now to make a contribution to the fund raiser.
Any chance that you could hop the Eurostar and come to Brussels?
Wish I could but I need to return to NYC on the 9th. But if I find myself in Brussels – possible sometime in 2020 – I’ll see if I can arrange something.
Gah. I’d love to come, but I cannot do Thursdays.
It doesn’t help I’m teaching early the next day. But thank you for starting the london events. I hope to catch you at the next one.
I will attempt to be there. Although I can count my contributions to the site on one hand I’ve read almost every day since 2007/8 and cherish the island of sanity this community provides, even if it isn’t always comfortable reading. I’m looking forward to meeting some of the minds behind the screen!
I look forward to meeting you! I finish work at six in Northeast London so won’t be with you until 7ish.
Cheers,
Joe
