Announcing Our Biggest Ever Double Your Donations Challenge!

Two super sporting readers have teamed up to issue our biggest-to-date “Double Your Donations” challenge evah! So please go straight to the Tip Jar to make their offer a smashing success!

This match offer is for donations of any size, up to a total of $9,000. So dig deep! We are still somewhat behind where we should be. Your responses to their generous backing can help push us over the top.

Our goal is to continue to give you the rich, high quality, wide-ranging information diet you’ve come to expect. We have a higher number of new donors than ever before, a very healthy sign, and our average donation is above our strong level of last year. But our total number of donations is lagging.

We suspect this churn is due above all to this site being again early and accurate, specifically in describing the genocide in Gaza as such. One of the costs of our fearless commentary is that some don’t want to hear it. But for those who have the intestinal fortitude for tenacious, unsparing investigation to get the best information and tease out its implications, we need your backing to stand up to pressure to say what is convenient, as opposed to candid. So please give generously at the donation page.

Readers continue to tell us how much Naked Capitalism means to them. From Lynn H:

As I think you know I am a very long-time reader and I so value Naked Capitalism for the information and education that you provide and the sense of community (even for people like me who only lurk).

With the time difference, NC is no longer the first thing I read in the morning, but it continues to be the most important thing I read. So, I wait (impatiently!) to read the Daily Links at 12pm and the afternoon Watercooler at 7pm!

Thank you again for all of your hard work, and I also very much appreciate the efforts of Lambert, Nick, Conor and your moderators and the NC readers who contribute their knowledge. I simply don’t know where I would be without Naked Capitalism as a resource.

From Aaron C:

I appreciate everything you all do and read your site daily. There is truly no place like your comment section–and that is a compliment.

And Steve K:

NC is usually my first site of the day. You and your colleagues provide the best all round summaries and links on a very wide array of topics.

And Janice:

Keep up the good work. I am one of your best lurkers ;-)

You can give here, via check, debit or credit card, PayPal, Clover or Wise. If you donate by check (we very much like checks!), please let us know by e-mailing us at yves@nakedcapitalism.com with “Biggest Ever Challenge” in the subject line.

Thanks to our wonderful donors for their generosity. I hope readers will respond in kind.

So no more shilly-shallying! Whether you can give $5, or $50, or $5,000, now is the time to contribute! Use this challenge to double your gift Every donation helps us meet our goals.

And the other important way to help is by telling others about our work, whether in person to friends, family, and colleagues, or in social media like Facebook and Twitter. Please download our 2024 Songbook and circulate it widely. Not only is it a compilation of reader wit and wisdom in verse form, but it’s also a great teaser for potential new readers.

So I hope you’ll take our munificent pair of supporters up on their fundraiser challenge in whatever way you can!

    Done!

    Again!

$100 contributed – another DYD challenge – just too good an opportunity to pass up!

I contributed to an earlier Double Your Donations” challenge and was delighted to get the opportunity to do my bit to help keep the show on the road – you do the informing and I do the educating, you put in the hard yards and I put in the cash…

But the great quality posts just kept coming, so I have no choice but to re-up – the worse the quality of reporting I see elsewhere just makes me treasure NC all the more!

    Thank you all for everything!
